Another office building is headed to Fort Worth’s Cultural District.
Crescent Real Estate LLC on March 28 announced plans for a second office building, Crescent Offices West, as part of its Crescent Fort Worth mixed-use development that includes a luxury hotel, a wellness club and spa, 170 residential units and Class AA office space.
The eight-story office building will break ground late this year and bring 170,000 square feet of Class AA office space when it opens in 2026. The building will front West Seventh Street between Van Cliburn Way and Boland Street. In addition to the amenities of The Crescent Fort Worth and the surrounding area, Crescent Offices West will contain two restaurants, a tenant amenity deck, fitness center and meeting space.
“The overall Crescent Fort Worth development has been a huge success and very well received by the market,” said John Goff, chairman of Crescent, in a news release. “The market demand for best-in-class office space in a luxury, amenity-rich environment is strong, and we are ready to bring the next phase of the project to the city. Fort Worth, and the Cultural District in particular, continue to shine, and we are excited to be a part of the growth.”
The Crescent Fort Worth mixed-use project opened last year and added new commercial real estate space to the Cultural District. The first office building — The Crescent Offices East — is near capacity less than a year from opening and only limited move-in ready spec suites ranging from 1,000 to 7,000 square feet are still available. Other office projects are also underway in the area, with Omaha, Nebraska-based Goldenrod Companies planning two projects valued at $400 million in the area, one on West Seventh and another on University Drive.
The Crescent Hotel, featuring 200 hotel rooms, Emilia’s and Blue Room restaurants, the Circle Bar and 8,000 square feet of ballroom/meeting space opened late last year. Ralph’s, a rooftop lounge, is expected to open soon.
The 170,000-square-foot Crescent Office East is home to some of Fort Worth’s leading companies, including the headquarters of Crescent Real Estate. Dallas-based Duro Hospitality, which operates restaurant Mr. Charles and Sister, will be opening their first Fort Worth restaurant on the ground floor of the building later this year.
